2019: Reflecting on a Tremendous Year

​The end of each year is always a time of reflection and appreciation. It is a time to review the previous months and all of the experiences that helped define the year. Here at Male Contraceptive Initiative, we have spent the past few weeks marveling at what your support has accomplished in 2019:

• We expanded our funding portfolio, welcoming in new grantees and fellows
• We launched a Youth Advisory Board to ensure young perspectives are brought to bear on our work
• We attended conferences and hosted events to advocate for and represent the male contraception community
• We published our first consumer research study
• Taking the adage, “if you want to go far, go together” to heart, we facilitated a multidisciplinary ideation event
• We expanded our online presence by improving our website and increasing our activity on social media

This is but a few of our accomplishments that we are proud of, and we will share more details in our annual report, but we felt it important to take a pause and highlight some of the work that your support has helped us accomplish. We look forward to continuing to share our journey with you in 2020.
